What Payment Request Form Should You Use?

"Nothing new that the payment request form for contractors is almost universally the same...the AIA Form 201 is followed closely by the AGC form 200. The EJCDC form C-700 (design professionals) does vary a bit, noting that this form allows an owner to overrule the engineer's recommendation. The later seems to be the most explicit and detailed process for handling pay request. So if you are an owner, why not use an AIA or AGC contract but mandate that all payments be made pursuant to an EJCDC form C-700?"
