Delayed Reporting of Workers' Compensation Claims

It's a legal thing.......under Kansas law, did you know that KSA 44-557(a) requires a report be made within 28 days after an injury....and if no report is filed fines are levied...and they can be levied against the employer and the insurance company?

Incorrect Audit on Work. Comp.

I am told Charlton Manley Insurance recently found a $41,000.00 correction through a work. comp. audit....give Bob Johnson a call 816-233-6688 to find out more....I learned something in the process.

Hispanic Injuries in the Workplace

Why are Hispanic workers sustaining more injuries in the workplace? That interesting question was asked by The Construction Executive in a November 2005 article. The reason appears to be the difficulties in assimilating into the North American economy.....language issues, illiteracy concerns, cultural differences all play a part.

Hispanics are needed for our construction work force, period! It is our responsibility to afford them the protection they deserve!
